Your storage quota

Last updated July 10, 2026

Your storage quota

Your storage quota is the total amount of recording data you can keep in your ApexStream account at one time. Once you reach it, new recordings may be blocked until you free up space or upgrade.

Quota by plan

| Plan | Storage quota | |---|---| | Free | 5 GB | | Hobby | 25 GB | | Creator | 100 GB | | Scale | 500 GB | | Enterprise | 10 TB |

What counts toward your quota

Cloud recordings from Web Studio and recordings uploaded from RTMP/OBS ingest both count against your quota. Recordings that have been deleted or that expired past your plan's retention window no longer count.

What happens when you're close to full

ApexStream checks your quota when a recording is being processed. If a new recording would push you over your limit, it is marked Over Quota instead of becoming available for download. You can free up space by deleting older recordings, or you can upgrade to a plan with a higher quota.

Good to know: Retention time and storage quota are separate. A recording might still be within its retention window but be blocked if your total stored recordings have already filled your quota.
