Find and download your recordings

This article shows you where your saved recordings live and how to play or download one.

Steps to find and download a recording

  1. From your dashboard, open Media Library in the sidebar.
  2. Make sure you're on the Library tab β€” the other tab, Scheduled, is for streams you've scheduled to go out later. Use the search bar to find a recording by name if your library has a lot of them.
  3. If a recording's thumbnail shows a processing indicator, wait for it to finish before you try to play or download it. Once finished, the recording is marked Ready. If you see Over Duration, Over Quota, or Unavailable After Plan Change, the recording is blocked and won't be downloadable β€” check your plan limits or contact support.
  4. Click a finished recording's thumbnail to open it in the player.
  5. In the player's playback controls, click the Download icon. ApexStream generates a secure download link and starts the download in a new tab.

If your recording has separate audio tracks β€” for example an isolated host track or per-guest tracks β€” open the options menu on the recording's card and choose Download Audio to download those individually.

Good to know: The download link ApexStream generates is temporary and expires after about an hour. If a download stalls or you come back to it later, just open the recording again and click Download to get a fresh link.
