Where are my recordings stored and for how long?

ApexStream recordings are stored securely in cloud storage and can be accessed from your dashboard's Media Library or Recordings section.
Recording format
Recordings are saved as MP4 files at the same resolution you streamed. The audio is AAC. There is no re-encode, so the quality matches your broadcast.
Retention by plan

After the retention period ends, recordings are automatically removed. Download anything you want to keep before then.
Storage quota
Each plan also has a storage quota. If you reach it, new recordings may be gated until you free up space or upgrade. You can see your current usage in Settings > Billing.
Good to know: If you downgrade to a plan with a shorter retention window, existing recordings may enter a 14-day grace period before they are deleted. Re-upgrade during that window to keep them.
