What happens to my content if I downgrade or cancel?
Your account stays active, but some recordings and features may become unavailable if your new plan no longer covers them.
When you downgrade
- Plan limits β you are moved to the lower plan's limits for destinations, stream length, resolution, guests, and storage.
- Recordings that exceed the new plan β recordings that are over the new storage quota, longer than allowed, or beyond the new retention period may be gated. They remain visible but cannot be played, downloaded, or restreamed until you re-upgrade or free up space.
- Grace period β recordings made before the downgrade usually get a 14-day window during which you can re-upgrade to keep them.
When you cancel
- You keep paid features until the end of your current billing period.
- After that, your account moves to the Free plan.
- Recordings that exceed Free-plan limits enter the same gated state and 14-day grace period.
- Podcast episodes and RSS feeds may also be affected if your new plan no longer includes Podcast Studio.
How to avoid losing content
- Download any recordings you want to keep before downgrading or canceling.
- Check your storage usage in Settings > Billing.
- If you change your mind, re-upgrade within the grace period to restore access.
Good to know: Gated recordings are not deleted immediately. They are kept for the grace period so you have time to upgrade or download them.
