Cancel your subscription

Cancel your subscription

You can cancel your ApexStream subscription through the Stripe billing portal. After cancellation, your account moves to the Free plan when the current billing period ends.

How to cancel

  1. From your dashboard, go to Settings > Billing.
  2. Click Manage Subscription in your current-plan card. This opens the secure Stripe billing portal.
  3. In the portal, find the cancellation option and confirm.
  4. You'll keep paid-plan access until the end of your current billing period, then your account automatically downgrades to Free.

What happens after cancellation

  • Your simultaneous-destination limit, stream length, resolution, and other paid features drop to the Free plan limits.
  • Cloud recordings remain available for the rest of the current billing period. After that, retention follows the Free plan's rules.
  • Your connected destinations stay connected, but if you have more than the Free plan allows live at once, you'll need to turn some off before your next broadcast.

Good to know: If you change your mind before the billing period ends, you can resubscribe through the same billing portal and keep your account history intact.
