Transcribe your episode

ApexStream can generate a word-level transcript of your podcast episode. The transcript powers the transcript editor, Magic Tools, captions, and the public show notes.

Start transcription

1. Open an episode in Podcast Studio.
2. Click Transcribe or Generate Transcript.
3. Wait for processing to finish. Longer episodes take more time.
4. Once ready, the transcript appears alongside the audio waveform.

Edit the transcript

You can click on any word in the transcript to jump to that moment in the audio. Editing a word in the transcript does not change the audio, but it does update the published show notes and any captions that use the transcript.

Good to know: Transcription quality depends on audio clarity. Speakers with heavy accents, overlapping speech, or background noise may produce lower accuracy.
