Transcribe your episode

ApexStream can generate a word-level transcript of your podcast episode. The transcript powers the transcript editor, Magic Tools, captions, and the public show notes.

Start transcription

1. Open an episode in Podcast Studio.
2. Click Transcribe Audio.
3. Wait for processing to finish. Longer episodes take more time.
4. Once ready, the transcript appears alongside the audio waveform.

Edit the transcript

Click any word in the transcript to seek the audio to that moment. Cutting words marks them for removal when you export — there is no text-only word edit that rewrites show notes without changing the edit list.

Good to know: Transcription quality depends on audio clarity. Speakers with heavy accents, overlapping speech, or background noise may produce lower accuracy.
