Clean up audio with Magic Tools

Magic Tools are one-click audio cleanup actions that save time when editing a podcast episode. They are available on the Creator plan and above.

Available Magic Tools

  • Remove Filler Words β€” finds and removes um, uh, like, you know, and similar words.
  • Shorten Silences β€” cuts long gaps between words while leaving natural breathing room.
  • Studio Sound β€” applies noise reduction and audio cleanup to make the recording sound more polished.
  • Magic Polish β€” a broader cleanup pass that combines multiple enhancements.

How to use Magic Tools

  1. Open an episode in Podcast Studio.
  2. Go to the transcript or timeline view.
  3. Open the Magic Tools menu.
  4. Choose the tool you want to run.
  5. Review the suggested changes and confirm.

Review before finalizing

Magic Tools make edits in the transcript and timeline, but you should still listen to the episode before publishing. Some cuts may sound unnatural if two words end up too close together.

Good to know: Magic Tools work at the word level using the transcript. If a section was not transcribed accurately, the edit may miss or include the wrong audio.
