Clean up audio with Magic Tools
Last updated July 24, 2026
Magic Tools are one-click audio cleanup actions that save time when editing a podcast episode. They are available on the Creator plan and above.
Available Magic Tools
- Remove Filler Words β finds and removes um, uh, like, you know, and similar words.
- Shorten Silences β cuts long gaps between words while leaving natural breathing room.
- Studio Sound β applies noise reduction and audio cleanup to make the recording sound more polished.
- Magic Polish β a broader cleanup pass that combines multiple enhancements.
How to use Magic Tools
- Open an episode in Podcast Studio.
- Go to the transcript or timeline view.
- Open the Magic menu.
- Choose the tool you want β it applies right away.
Review before finalizing
There is no separate review-and-confirm step. Listen through the episode before you publish. Some cuts may sound unnatural if two words end up too close together.
Good to know: Magic Tools work at the word level using the transcript. If a section was not transcribed accurately, the edit may miss or include the wrong audio.
