Stream to X (Twitter)

X (formerly Twitter) does not offer a public live-streaming API, so ApexStream connects through X Media Studio using a manual RTMP setup.

Requirements

• Your X account must have a Premium subscription to access Media Studio / RTMP streaming.
• You need an RTMPS URL and stream key from X Media Studio.

Get your X credentials

1. Go to studio.x.com and sign in.
2. Open Producer in the sidebar.
3. Click Create Source.
4. Copy the RTMPS URL and Stream Key.

Add X as a destination

1. In your ApexStream dashboard, go to Integrations.
2. Click the X Launcher tile.
3. Paste the RTMPS URL and stream key from X's Media Studio Producer.
4. Enable Crop to 9:16 Vertical if you want your 16:9 stream converted to 9:16 for mobile feeds.
5. Click Add Connection.

Go live

1. Enter Web Studio or start your encoder.
2. Enable the X destination.
3. Click Go Live.

Good to know: X connects through a standard form — paste the RTMPS URL and stream key from Media Studio Producer. There is no multi-step guided wizard or Smart Composer tweet feature in ApexStream.
