Stream to a Facebook Profile or Group

In addition to Facebook Pages, you can stream to your personal Facebook profile from ApexStream. Facebook Groups are not available as destinations today.

Connect a Facebook profile

1. In your ApexStream dashboard, go to Integrations.
2. Click Connect next to Facebook.
3. Sign in to Facebook and grant the requested permissions so ApexStream can create live videos on your behalf.
4. After you return to ApexStream, a channel picker appears with your personal profile and the Pages you manage — select the ones you want to add.

Requirements

• Facebook may require your profile to be eligible for live video. New or restricted accounts sometimes cannot go live.
• Facebook Groups are not available as destinations in ApexStream today — only your personal profile and Pages you manage.

Go live

1. Enter Web Studio or start your encoder.
2. Enable the Facebook profile destination in the Channels panel.
3. Click Go Live.

Good to know: Facebook's permissions can expire. If the destination shows disconnected, reconnect it from the Integrations page.
