Set your stream title and description

Your stream title and description are what viewers see on each platform you stream to. Setting them before you go live helps audiences find and understand your broadcast.

Set title and description when creating a stream

1. From the dashboard, click New Station or open an existing stream setup.
2. In the Create New Stream window, enter a Stream Title.
3. Enter a Description if you want one.
4. Click Create Stream to save.

Set or change them in Web Studio

1. Enter Web Studio.
2. The session title appears in the top bar. Click it to edit.
3. Type your new title and confirm.

Where the title and description appear

• The title is sent to connected destinations as the live broadcast title.
• The description is used where the platform supports it, such as YouTube.
• Some platforms, like Facebook or Twitch, may use only the title.

Good to know: Each platform has its own title-length limits. If a title is too long, the platform may truncate it.
