Schedule a stream in advance
Scheduling lets you broadcast a saved recording to your connected platforms at a future time, as if it were live. This is useful for replaying a past stream or airing a pre-recorded episode on a regular schedule.
How to schedule a broadcast
- From your dashboard, go to the Media Library or Recordings page.
- Find the recording you want to broadcast and open it.
- Click Schedule Live Stream.
- Fill in the broadcast details:
- Stream Title
- Description
- Thumbnail — upload a custom image, use the recording's current thumbnail, or (Scale and Enterprise plans) generate an AI thumbnail.
- Pick a start time:
- Choose a future date and time, or
- Toggle Go Live Now to start immediately.
- Select the channels you want to broadcast to.
- Click Schedule Live Stream.
Your scheduled broadcast appears in the Scheduled list, where you can view or cancel it before it goes live.
Plan limits
- Free: scheduling is not available.
- Hobby / Creator: 1 active or upcoming scheduled broadcast at a time.
- Scale / Enterprise: up to 3 active or upcoming scheduled broadcasts at a time.
- Each plan also has a monthly limit on how many scheduled broadcasts you can create and how many total simulated-live minutes you can use.
Good to know: Scheduling restreams a recording, it does not schedule a new live broadcast from Web Studio or OBS. If you want to go live from Web Studio at a specific time, open Web Studio and click Go Live when you're ready.
