Stream a pre-recorded video ("Upload & Stream")

You can upload a pre-recorded video to your Media Library and broadcast it as if it were live. This is often called Upload & Stream or simulated live.

How it works

1. Click Upload Video in Media Library and wait for processing to finish.
2. Choose the recording and click Stream Live to schedule it or go live now.
3. Set the title, description, thumbnail, and destinations.
4. Pick a start time or choose Go Live Now.
5. ApexStream plays the video out to your selected platforms at the scheduled time.

Upload a video

1. Go to Dashboard → Media Library.
2. Click Upload Video.
3. Select a video file from your computer.
4. Wait for the upload and processing to finish. The video appears in your library as a recording.

Plan requirements

Scheduling simulated-live broadcasts requires a paid plan. Free plans cannot schedule uploads.

Good to know: Upload & Stream uses the same scheduling system as re-streaming a past recording. Once the broadcast starts, viewers see the video as a normal live stream and the recording is saved to your account as usual.
