Reply to your audience

You can reply to viewer comments directly from ApexStream's unified chat panel. Right now, replies are sent back to YouTube; comments from other platforms can be read in the panel but your reply will not be posted there.

Reply from the chat panel

  1. Open Web Studio and go live.
  2. Click the Chat icon in the right-hand sidebar to open the unified chat panel.
  3. Find the comment you want to respond to.
  4. Click the reply area next to that comment, type your message, and press Enter or click Send.
  5. Your reply is posted to the YouTube live chat for that stream.

Which platforms you can reply to

  • YouTube β€” replies are supported. Your message appears in the YouTube live chat.
  • Facebook β€” you can read comments, but replies from ApexStream are not posted back.
  • Twitch β€” you can read messages, but replies from ApexStream are not posted back.

Good to know: If a viewer comments on Facebook or Twitch, acknowledge them on-air by reading the message aloud rather than typing a reply, since those platforms currently do not support outbound replies from ApexStream.
