Chat availability by platform

Not every streaming platform supports two-way chat integration. This table shows what ApexStream can do with each platform's chat today.

| Platform | Read comments in ApexStream | Reply from ApexStream | |---|---|---| | YouTube | Yes | Yes | | Facebook | Yes | No | | Twitch | Yes | No | | LinkedIn | No | No | | Instagram | No | No | | TikTok | No | No | | X (Twitter) | No | No | | Custom RTMP | No | No |

What "read" and "reply" mean

  • Read means comments from that platform appear in ApexStream's unified chat panel.
  • Reply means you can type a response in ApexStream and it is posted back to that platform's chat.

Good to know: Chat features require a paid plan. Unified chat is available on Hobby and above.
