Remove or disconnect a destination

Remove or disconnect a destination

You can disconnect a platform from ApexStream at any time. Disconnecting removes the stored credentials or stream key so ApexStream can no longer broadcast to that channel.

Disconnect a platform

  1. Go to Dashboard → Integrations.
  2. Find the platform card you want to remove.
  3. Click the Trash icon on the card.
  4. Confirm the removal.

The channel is removed immediately and will no longer appear in your destination list when you go live.

Temporarily disable a destination

If you want to keep the connection but stop sending streams to it for now:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Integrations.
  2. Toggle the switch on the connected platform card to off.
  3. The destination stays connected but is skipped during your next broadcast.

You can re-enable it later by turning the switch back on.

Good to know: Disabling a destination does not delete the connection or affect your stream history. Removing a destination does not delete past recordings or streams that were already sent to that platform.
