My recording is missing or won't download

If a recording does not appear after a stream, or the download link does not work, go through these checks.

Check these, in order

Is the recording still processing? Recordings go through stitching, encoding, and uploading after a stream ends. Wait at least 10–15 minutes for short streams and up to 30 minutes for long ones.

Did the stream actually record? Cloud recording is available on Hobby and above. Free plans do not record. If you are on Creator or above, confirm you chose Cloud Recording or Local Recording in the Record menu.

Check the recording status. In the Media Library, look for labels like Stitching, Processing, or Uploading. These mean the file is not ready yet.

Are you over your storage quota? If a recording shows Over Storage, you need to free up space or upgrade before you can play or download it.

Did you downgrade recently? Recordings made on a higher plan may show Plan Downgraded and enter a 14-day grace period. Re-upgrade to restore access.

If the download link fails

  1. Refresh the Media Library page.
  2. Try the download again. Links are time-limited and may expire if you waited too long.
  3. If it still fails, contact support with the recording title and stream time.

Good to know: Download links are secure and expire for safety. If a link times out, go back to the Media Library and request a fresh one.
