Manage, revoke, and disable AI access

You stay in control of AI access from Settings → Developer. This page covers everyday management after tokens exist.

Availability and safety: AI access is available only on Creator, Scale, and Enterprise. Free and Hobby accounts cannot create or use MCP tokens and must upgrade to Creator or higher. The feature is not live in production yet and is being prepared for a closed internal trial. An eligible paid plan alone does not enable access. This version is read-only and uses only the permissions you select; it cannot expose stream keys or platform secrets, change settings, or start a broadcast. Account data requested by a connected AI app may be sent to your chosen AI provider, so connect only tools you trust.

Review your tokens

On Settings → Developer, each token shows:

• Name you chose
• Status: active, revoked, or expired
• When it was created and last used (if available)
• Which permissions it has

Revoke one AI app

1. Open Settings → Developer.
2. Find the token for that app.
3. Click Revoke.
4. Confirm.

Any app using that token loses access within seconds. Your ApexStream password and other tokens are unchanged.

See recent AI activity

Open Recent AI activity on the same page. You will see which tools ran, whether they succeeded or failed, and roughly when. Use this if something unexpected happened or you want to confirm a connection is working.

Disable AI access for the whole account

1. On Settings → Developer, click Disable MCP for my account.
2. Confirm.

All tokens stop working until you click Re-enable MCP for my account.

Use account-wide disable if you suspect a problem, are done with a trial, or want a hard stop without revoking each token by hand.

If the account is downgraded below Creator: every existing MCP token is blocked on its next use. The dashboard still lets you list and revoke old tokens and review recent AI activity.

Good to know: Disabling MCP does not delete your streams, destinations, or recordings. It only blocks AI token access.
