Create your first podcast show

A show is the container for your podcast — its identity, cover art, and all of its episodes. Here's how to set one up in Podcast Studio.

Create a show

1. In Podcast Studio, open Shows in the sidebar.
2. Click New Show.
3. If this is your very first show, you can also pick a quick-start template — Interview, Solo Commentary, Panel Discussion, or Narrative / Story — to pre-fill a description and category, or skip templates and build a custom show from scratch.
4. Fill in your show's details:
   • Show Title (required)
   • Description — what your podcast is about
   • Author and Email
   • Category — an Apple Podcasts-style category like Technology, Comedy, or True Crime
   • Language
   • Website URL
   • Contains explicit content toggle
   • Cover art (uploaded via the artwork uploader in the modal)
5. Click Create Show.

Your new show appears on the Shows page, along with its episode count and RSS status.

Good to know: Each plan has a limit on how many shows you can create: Hobby 1, Creator 3, Scale 10, Enterprise unlimited. You can edit a show's title, description, cover art, and other details at any time from the Shows page — click the menu on a show's card and choose Edit Show.
