Add music and voiceover
You can add music tracks and voiceover layers to a podcast episode directly in Podcast Studio.
Add music
- Open an episode in Podcast Studio.
- Click Add Music or open the music library.
- Choose a royalty-free track from the built-in library.
- Drag the track onto the timeline.
- Adjust the volume and position. The editor can automatically duck the music when speech is detected.
Add a voiceover
- In the episode editor, click Record Voiceover.
- Use your microphone to record a new narration track.
- The recording appears as a new layer on the timeline.
- Trim, move, and adjust the volume as needed.
Use music as an intro or outro
Place a music track at the very beginning or end of the episode. You can fade it in or out so it blends smoothly with the main content.
Good to know: Built-in music is royalty-free, so you can use it in published episodes without licensing concerns. If you upload your own music, make sure you have the rights to use it.
