Stream to LinkedIn

Stream to LinkedIn
LinkedIn Live connects through ApexStream using a stream URL and key that you copy from LinkedIn's own live-event setup. There is no one-click sign-in button in the dashboard today, so this article covers the manual path that is currently available.
Before you start
You need to have LinkedIn Live enabled on your LinkedIn profile or Page. LinkedIn controls access to live streaming on its side, and ApexStream can't turn it on for you.
Add LinkedIn as a destination
- In your ApexStream dashboard, open Integrations.
- Find the LinkedIn tile and click it. A form opens for the stream URL and key.
- On LinkedIn, start creating a live event and copy the Stream URL and Stream Key it gives you.
- Back in ApexStream, paste those into the form and give the destination a name you'll recognize, such as "LinkedIn — My Page."
- Click Add Connection.
Go live to LinkedIn
- Open Web Studio (or start streaming from your encoder).
- In the Connected Channels panel, switch on your LinkedIn destination.
- Click Go Live or Start Streaming in your encoder.
LinkedIn usually needs a few seconds to bind the incoming video before it appears on your event page.
Good to know: If LinkedIn gives you a fresh stream key for every event, you'll need to update the key in ApexStream each time. You can edit the destination from the Integrations page or remove it and add it again with the new key.
