Customize and trim your clips

After AI Clips generates highlights, you can open a clip and adjust caption styles, layout, and music/voice balance before exporting. Clips are vertical (9:16), and length comes from the AI pick.

Open a clip to edit

1. Go to AI Clips in your dashboard and open a recording's clips.
2. Select the clip you want to edit.
3. Clip length is set by the AI pick — there is no drag-to-trim timeline in the editor.
4. Use the style controls below to change how the clip looks and sounds.

Change the look

In the clip editor you can adjust:

• Caption style — font, color, position, and animation.
• Layout — face-track, fit, or split view.
• Music and voice balance — balance background music against speech.

Clips export as vertical 9:16. There is no aspect-ratio switcher.

Save your edits

When you like how a clip looks, save it to keep that clip's caption style, layout, and audio balance.

Good to know: Clip length comes from the AI pick. Focus on captions, layout, and music/voice balance to get the look you want before you render and download.
