Customize and trim your clips

After AI Clips generates highlights, you can adjust the start and end points, change the look, and pick the right format before exporting.

Trim a clip

  1. Go to AI Clips in your dashboard and open a project.
  2. Select the clip you want to edit.
  3. Drag the start and end handles to shorten or lengthen the clip.
  4. Preview the trimmed clip before saving.

Change the look

In the clip editor you can usually adjust:

  • Aspect ratio β€” 9:16 for Reels/Shorts/TikTok, 1:1 for feed posts, or 16:9 for YouTube.
  • Caption style β€” font, color, position, and animation.
  • Layout β€” face-track, fit, or split view.
  • Background β€” blurred background, solid color, or b-roll.
  • Music and sound effects β€” add a music track or auto sound effects.
  • Hook title β€” a short headline that appears at the start.

Save your template

Once you find a look you like, save it as a template so future clips can use the same style with one click.

Good to know: Some advanced styling options, like b-roll generation, may take extra processing time after you save the clip.
