Connect and stream to Twitch
Connect your Twitch channel once, and it's ready to include any time you go live from ApexStream.
Connect your Twitch channel
- In your dashboard, open Integrations.
- Find the Twitch tile and click Connect.
- You'll be sent to Twitch's sign-in screen β sign in and approve the permissions ApexStream requests. This includes reading and sending Twitch chat, so your Twitch chat can appear in ApexStream's unified chat.
- You're brought back to ApexStream automatically, and your Twitch channel is added as a destination for you β there's no extra list to pick from.
Go live to Twitch from Web Studio
- Open Web Studio and complete the camera/microphone check.
- Open the Channels panel and switch on your Twitch channel for this broadcast.
- Click Go Live. ApexStream fetches your stream key securely on its own servers when you connect, so you never have to copy, see, or manage it yourself.
If your Twitch connection ever stops working β for example, an expired sign-in β reconnect it from the Integrations page the same way you connected it the first time.
Good to know: Twitch chat appears in ApexStream's unified chat panel automatically once you're live, because the connection includes permission to read your Twitch chat.
