Add a name / lower-third
A lower-third is the on-screen nameplate that shows a person's name and title. Web Studio lets you add one as an overlay.
Add a name overlay
- Enter Web Studio.
- Open the Graphics panel in the right-hand sidebar.
- Choose Lower Third or Nameplate.
- Enter the name and optional title or role.
- Pick a style from the available themes.
- The lower-third appears on your canvas and goes out with the broadcast.
Style options
You can usually customize:
- name and title text
- font and colors
- position on screen
- animation style (fade, slide, etc.)
- how long it stays visible
When to use it
- Introduce a guest when they first speak.
- Show your own name and title at the start of a stream.
- Highlight a speaker during a panel or interview.
Good to know: Lower-third styles pull from your brand kit when one is configured, so your nameplates match your other overlays automatically.
