A destination shows disconnected

If one of your connected platforms shows as disconnected in ApexStream, the link between ApexStream and that platform needs to be refreshed.

Check these, in order

Is the platform itself having an outage? Check the platform's status page or try logging into it directly. If the platform is down, ApexStream cannot stream there.

Did your authorization expire? Platform tokens can expire if you changed your password, revoked access, or the platform requires a periodic re-login.

Reconnect the platform:

  1. In your dashboard, go to your destinations or integrations list.
  2. Find the platform that shows Disconnected.
  3. Click Reconnect, Re-authorize, or follow the prompt to sign in again.
  4. Complete the platform's permission flow.
  5. Confirm the destination shows as connected before going live.

If reconnecting does not work

  • Remove the destination and add it again from scratch.
  • Make sure the account you sign in with still has permission to go live on that platform.
  • For Facebook, confirm you are reconnecting a Page you admin, not just a personal profile.

Good to know: Reconnecting a platform does not delete your past streams or recordings — it only restores the permission for future broadcasts.
