Why does my stream have a watermark?
The small ApexStream logo in the corner of your stream is the Free-plan watermark. It appears only on the Free plan and is removed automatically when you upgrade to any paid plan.
Why the watermark exists
The watermark lets viewers know the stream is being produced with ApexStream. It is added to all Free-plan broadcasts and recordings.
How to remove it
Upgrade to Hobby, Creator, Scale, or Enterprise. The watermark disappears as soon as your paid plan is active — there is no separate setting to toggle.
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Change Plan.
- Choose any paid plan and complete checkout.
What the watermark looks like
- Position: top-right corner.
- Style: semi-transparent ApexStream wordmark.
- It appears on both live streams and recordings made while you are on the Free plan.
Good to know: Upgrading removes the watermark from future streams and recordings. Recordings created while you were on the Free plan will still show the watermark from that time.
