AI Clip limits and AI minutes

AI Clips is available starting on the Creator plan. Instead of a fixed number of clips, your usage is measured in minutes of source video processed per month.

How minutes are counted

Minutes are counted against the length of the recording you ask AI Clips to analyze, not the number of clips it produces. For example, analyzing a 20-minute recording uses 20 minutes from your allowance, whether it returns two clips or ten.

What happens if you run out

If a clip job would push you past your monthly limit, ApexStream blocks the job and prompts you to wait until your allowance resets or upgrade to a higher plan. Unused minutes do not roll over to the next month.

Good to know: AI Clips jobs run in the background. You can close the tab after starting one; processing continues and the clips appear in your dashboard when they're ready.
